He was awarded his first Premier League game in November 2014 and was promoted to the Select Group the following year. The 53-year-old, a former student at the London School of Economics, joined the National List of officials in 2008 after a decade in the lower reaches of the English football pyramid. It will be Scott's second appointment involving Newcastle this term, after he oversaw the goalless Premier League draw at Brighton back in August - dishing out five yellow cards, including three to Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and Fabian Schär. ![]()
